Our Commitment to Sesame Seeds
At Palm Export Synergy Limited, we recognise that the strength of the sesame export value chain is determined at the earliest stages of production. Our approach is built on the understanding that quality is not created at the point of export but is preserved from the farm level through disciplined handling, proper drying techniques, careful sorting and structured aggregation systems. For this reason, we are committed to building sourcing relationships that prioritise quality consciousness, consistency and mutual accountability. As we expand our engagement within sesame producing communities in Jigawa, Kano and Benue States, our commitment is to work with local farmers, aggregators and community level stakeholders to strengthen awareness around international quality expectations. This includes encouraging improved post harvest handling practices that reduce contamination, protect seed integrity and preserve the natural characteristics that make Nigerian sesame highly competitive in global markets. We also recognise the importance of inclusive participation within the sesame value chain. Rural households, including women involved in sorting, cleaning and processing activities, play a critical role in ensuring that sesame seeds meet export grade standards. As part of our sourcing philosophy, we are committed to fostering greater inclusion of these groups within our supply network as we deepen our operations in the region. Traceability and consistency remain central pillars of our sourcing model. We are committed to developing long term partnerships with reliable suppliers who understand the importance of meeting buyer specifications and maintaining product integrity across multiple shipments. By strengthening these relationships, we aim to improve supply predictability while ensuring that international buyers receive sesame seeds that meet agreed quality standards.
